Πρωταγωνιστής σε δύο συλλόγους τις δεκαετίες του 70’ και του 80’!

 

 

Ένα σύμβολο για το σωματείο, το οποίο εδρεύει εντός του κορινθιακού κόλπου, ένα πρότυπο για τον σύλλογο, ο οποίος πρεσβεύει, έντονα, το προσφυγικό στοιχείο, ένας αθλητικός καλλιτέχνης για τους «λόρδους» του Βύρωνα και φυσικά μια ζωντανή ιστορία για την ομάδα του τόπου του, τον Γ.Σ Ηλιούπολης! Μ’ άλλα λόγια, όνομα, Γιώργος, επώνυμο, Πίσσας, ιδιότητα, ποδοσφαιριστής, επάγγελμα, ιδανικός «εκτελεστής» ή επιθετικός με ξεχωριστή δυναμική!  

Πως, άλλωστε, να χαρακτηρίσει κάποιος γνώστης του ποδοσφαιρικού χώρου τον άνθρωπο, ο οποίος σημείωσε, κάποτε, 35 γκολ σε 152 αγώνες, για τη διοργάνωση της Α’ Εθνικής, πως να ερμηνεύσει ένας καλός παρατηρητής την αθλητική πανδαισία που σκόρπιζε, επί σειρά δύο δεκαετιών, ο εν λόγω «σέντερ φορ», μαγεύοντας, με τα προσόντα του, τα πλήθη κάθε χρόνο.

Ειδικότερα, το έτος, 1978, όταν ο Γιώργος έφτασε στο απόγειο της μεγάλης δόξας του, σημειώνοντας, συνολικά, 23 τέρματα στον… μαραθώνιο της Β Εθνικής, τοποθετώντας το όνομα του στην 1η θέση του πίνακα των σκόρερ. Για λογαριασμό της «Μπάρτσα» της Πελοποννήσου, Π.Α.Σ. Κορίνθου, με τα χρώματα της οποίας πανηγύρισε, ένα έτος μετά, την ιστορική άνοδο στην Α’ Εθνική.

Ένα τεράστιο επίτευγμα, το οποίο ουδείς αδυνατεί να αφαιρέσει από τη δική του μνήμη, πόσο μάλλον ο Γιώργος Πίσσας, ο οποίος συνέχισε τη ξέφρενη ρότα του στον αθλητισμό, παρουσιάζοντας το δικό του ποδοσφαιρικό «κρεσέντο» στον Απόλλωνα Σμύρνης, τον οποίο βοήθησε να διατηρηθεί στη μεγαλύτερη τη τάξη κατηγορία.

Κάτι αντίστοιχο έπραξε, στα τελευταία έτη της πολυετούς και άκρως πετυχημένης καριέρας του, ο Γιώργος στο καμάρι του Βύρωνα, πρωταγωνιστώντας με τον Αθηναϊκό στα Πρωταθλήματα της Γ’ και Β’ Εθνικής, ξεσηκώνοντας το «νταμάρι» του Βύρωνα κάθε Κυριακή!

Όχι γιατί ο Πίσσας υπήρξε ο μοναδικός σπουδαίος αθλητής, την τότε εποχή, αλλά γιατί διακρινόταν για την επιθετική του δεινότητα, το αστείρευτο πάθος του για το σπορ του ποδοσφαίρου και την άψογη συνεργασία του με τα στελέχη κάθε ομάδας, την οποία υπηρέτησε στο παρελθόν από τη θέση του αθλητή. Όπως, ομοίως, συνεργάσιμος παραμένει, ακόμα, ο Γιώργος παρά την συμπλήρωση του 65ου έτους της ηλικίας του, η οποία, όμως, δεν τον αποτρέπει από το να διευθύνει το τμήμα των Κ.Ε.Π (Κέντρο Εξυπηρέτησης Πολιτών) στην περιοχή της Ηλιούπολης.

 

Η «ταυτότητα» του Γιώργου Πίσσα!

Ο Γιώργος Πίσσας (γενν. Αθήνα, 15 Ιανουαρίου 1956[1]) είναι παλαίμαχος διεθνής ποδοσφαιριστής που αγωνιζόταν στη θέση του επιθετικού μέσου.

Ξεκίνησε τη σταδιοδρομία του από το σύλλογο του Γ.Σ. Ηλιούπολης σε νεαρή ηλικία, περίοδο κατά την οποία κλήθηκε στην Εθνική Ομάδα των Ερασιτεχνών. Έχει, επίσης, αγωνισθεί στην Εθνική Μεσογειακή Ομάδα.

Το 1978 αναδείχθηκε πρώτος σκόρερ στο Νότιο Όμιλο της Β΄Εθνικής με 23 τέρματα, για λογαριασμό της Κορίνθου, με την οποία κέρδισε το πρωτάθλημα το 1979 και ανέβηκε στην Α΄Εθνική. Σημαντική καριέρα έκανε και με τις ομάδες του Απόλλωνα Αθηνών, αλλά και του Αθηναϊκού Βύρωνα. Έχει λάβει μέρος σε 152 επίσημους αγώνες πρωταθλήματος της Α΄ Εθνικής (92 με την Κόρινθο, 60 με τον Απόλλωνα Αθηνών) και έχει πετύχει 35 τέρματα (20 και 15, αντίστοιχα).
